Designed to reflect the precision and grace of Baskerville itself, the specimen book combines historical context with expressive typesetting. Each spread highlights a different characteristic, from stroke contrast to spacin, using thoughtful composition, hierarchy, and pacing. The color palette and paper choice were selected to feel timeless and sophisticated, reinforcing the tone of the content. This project challenged me to treat type as both content and image, balancing restraint with moments of visual drama. The final book serves as both a reference and a celebration of one of typography’s most enduring designs.
